    Comments, Additional Information, References

There is a street address discrepancy where the Roudabush Survey, internet sources, and the National Register of Historic Places list the address as 40 Church Street which may be the mailing address; however, the physical tax assessor address is 30 Church Street, and 40 Church Street would be in the next block south where the Town of Phelps Redfield Park is located.

Baptist Church of Vienna*, 30 Church St., Phelps, was built in 1845. It is Greek Revival with Gothic columns. Front was built with small red sandstone, water-rounded cobbles set at an angle. The side walls are multi-colored cobbles while the rear consists of field cobbles. Richard Palmer blog.

    * The village of Phelps was once called Vienna.
